While on the Late Night With Seth Meyers, Charlize Theron revealed her hilarious little competition with none other than Rihanna as far as their publicist is concerned! It turns out that she’s playing favorites and the actress feels pretty left out!
Theron told the host during her appearance last night that ‘You want to think that your publicist thinks that you’re worth putting out there in the world and that has to come from a very authentic place. It’s hard when your other client is somebody like Rihanna.’
She went on to recall a particular example of one time when she felt like a second-hand citizen as opposed to the singer.
Allegedly, the publicist just sent her a short and typical text on her birthday.
‘She was like, ‘Happiest birthday.’ She didn’t even write birthday. She wrote ‘bday,’’ the star shared.
That being said, Rihanna got something much more special on her birthday!
The greeting was ‘To my FAVORITE!!!!! I hope you are having a blast,’ which already says all, but the sweet message was actually printed on a T-shirt!
And to make matters worse, Rihanna really knows how to rub it in since she actually mailed the clothing item to the actress!
It turns out that the singer herself printed the birthday wish on the shirt just to prove she’s the publicist’s ‘favorite.’
‘Rihanna wrote in the following email, ‘I’m making a t-shirt of this and sending it to Charlize.’ I don’t think my publicist ever thought that was going to happen.’
The show’s host was definitely very amused by the situation as he exclaimed that ‘it’s really funny’ and even held up the shirt in question so the audience could see it.

‘I was like, ‘That’s really nice of Rihanna to do that. But, I guess she has t-shirt money!’ Theron added.
